  • Join EBASE's Happy Hour & Dance Party on Friday 12/4!

For many, 2020 has been the most challenging year of our lives. We have faced crisis after crisis, but love kept us united and tenacious in our movements for justice. Please join EBASE for our online Happy Hour & Dance Party on Friday 12/4 from 4:00-7:00pm to relax, reflect, and renew our community.

  • May day 2019 Protest in Concord

    Concord Housing Fight Continues!

Our May day protest was bigger and more boisterous this year as we keep the pressure on City Council to pass renter protections. The movement for housing as a human right grows stronger every day.

  • Moving Towards a Moral Budget in Oakland

The Town came closer than ever to passing a People’s Budget in 2019.

  • Oakland Hotel Workers on steps of City Hall

    Congratulations Oakland Hotel Workers!

Measure Z's new wage increase took effect on July 1st, allowing hotel workers to care for their families, resist displacement, and stay in their homes.

  • White People Must Fix White People

White supremacy is not an “alt” movement. It is internalized by everyone and embedded in our economy.

Fair Development

As development booms and housing costs skyrocket, EBASE is ensuring that large projects meet the needs of low-income workers and communities of color. Public land must serve public good, so we organize for development that preserves diversity and creates opportunity for local workers.

Good Jobs

EBASE is changing the expectation of work by creating an economy where everyone's contributions are valued. Our campaigns for living wages, fair scheduling, and paid sick days are raising the floor on low-wage work. And we're expanding access to good jobs by creating training opportunities and fighting hiring discrimination.

Immigrant Rights

With federal policies dividing families and communities, it’s time to stand up to fear like never before. EBASE is fighting for policies that keep immigrants safe by expanding sanctuary policies in our neighborhoods and workplaces. Immigrant rights are essential to all of our campaigns for economic justice.
