The Black Workers United Organizing Director is principally responsible for leading the development and execution of organizing and basebuilding to develop Black Workers United, a new organizing program at EBASE. Black Workers United is developing the leadership and power of Black workers across industries in the East Bay in partnership with a steering committee of Black community and labor leaders.
For the Organizing Director role, EBASE seeks an experienced leader with a strong track record of supervising teams to build a base of workers and win multi-faceted worker power campaigns that include worker basebuilding and coalition development.
Salary + Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $110,000 annually (based on experience), with an annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment, budget permitting. In support of its mission, EBASE seeks a collaborative and strategically inclined Campaign Coordinator to help build our network of individual and organizational allies for EBASE’s campaigns for housing justice, racial justice, immigrant rights and worker rights. This includes coordinating aspects of EBASE’s coalition-based campaigns, developing and implementing campaign strategies and actions; supporting community outreach and basebuilding activities; and representing EBASE at County-wide coalitions and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
Salary + Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $78,000-$82,000 annually (based on experience), with an annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment.
