Campaign Coordinator, Workers' Rights

Hannah comes to EBASE as an experienced labor organizer who believes working people are the only ones who can make changes in their workplaces! She is currently the Oakland Workers’ Rights Campaign Coordinator, engaging workers and community partners on education and enforcement of workers’ rights in Oakland.

While in graduate school, Hannah got involved in organizing with her union, serving as a head steward and executive board member before working as a full-time organizer at UAW for 5 years. She has bargained several union contracts and helped Academic Workers at the University of California build toward their historic strike in the Fall of 2022.

When not working she can be found volunteering, on the water rowing crew, or reading about the latest restaurants and bars opening in the East Bay. She is passionate about workers’ rights, universal health care, and Oakland! Originally from Ventura County, Hannah attended California public schools from Kindergarten to college. She holds a Master’s in Geography from California State, Long Beach, and a bachelor’s in Geography and Urban Planning from Sonoma State University.
