Marlon is EBASE’s Civic Engagement Coordinator. He is an experienced political campaign operative who has worked on local, state and federal campaigns across the country. Some of the ballot initiatives he has worked on include legalizing marijuana in Michigan and Oregon, ensuring affordable housing in Menlo Park, and raising wages for Seattle hotel workers.

Before joining EBASE, Marlon worked as a political campaign consultant in the areas of communications and field. He also worked as a non-profit attorney representing victims of domestic violence. Marlon is a proud graduate of Texas Southern University (a HBCU) where he received his BA in Political Science and of Whittier Law School where he received his JD. While at Whittier he served on the Black Law Student Association Board.

In his time off, Marlon enjoys going to the movies, watching his favorite sports teams (Cowboys, Lakers, and Padres), attending Buddhist classes, and walking Liberty, his Jack Russell Terrier.
