Our 25th Anniversary celebration, Creating a Thriving East Bay Together, on November 7th filled our hearts with love and joy!
Close to 200 community members came out to embrace joy and celebrate this milestone occasion with us at the beautiful Berkeley Marina Doubletree Hotel. During the event, we enjoyed words of inspiration and celebration from accomplished leaders, including Alameda County Supervisor Nikki Fortunato Bas and Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee. We celebrated four remarkable honorees Congresswoman Lateefah Simon, David Huerta of SEIU USWW, Lupe Arreola of Tenants Together, and Kurt Kuhwald of Faith Alliance for a Moral Economy for their long-standing bold and visionary leadership.
