FINANCE MANAGER

The Financial Manager will support and contribute to continuous improvement of the financial controls and systems including managing cash flow, forecasting, supervise annual tax preparation, and coordinate and oversee full cycle annual audit process. In partnership with the Associate Director, the Finance Manager will review financial reporting, keep management abreast of financial status, and work with the Management Team to assess needed changes. S/He/They will maintain tracking systems and work with the Human Resource & Administrative Manager to ensure contributions match and are reconciled quarterly. S/He/They will update all business policies, accounting practices, and procedures managers as needed. The Finance Manager will produce and assemble financial reports and memos for foundations, donors, Board of Directors, and other internal or external uses as needed.

PROJECT COORDINATOR (Short-term/Part-time)

The Project Coordinator will coordinate EBASE and partners’ work under the California COVID-19 Workplace Outreach Project (CWOP) grant. This will include serving as our liaison with the Sierra Health Foundation and Worksafe CA which is providing the funding, training, and content for the program. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for making sure EBASE teams and our subgrant partners, Unite Here Local 2850 and North Bay Jobs With Justice, have the information they need to engage and educate workers in this effort. The Project Coordinator will provide data and support to EBASE’s texting program, and submit weekly reports on our collective outreach efforts. This is a short-term 4-6-month position that will work about 24-32 hours/week.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

In support of its mission, EBASE seeks an organized and collaborative Development Manager to lead and coordinate EBASE’s fundraising projects to grow the organization’s mission. The Development Manager will coordinate EBASE’s grassroots fundraising efforts, manage EBASE’s foundation fundraising, and collaborate with all staff to engage grassroots individual donors and event sponsors towards cultivating the organizational fundraising culture. The ideal candidate will be committed to economic and racial justice and have experience in foundation fundraising. S/he/they will have strong project management and communications skills. The Development Manager role is shared with East Bay Action, a separate 501(c4).

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

In support of its mission, EBASE seeks a motivated, creative, and highly relational Communications Manager responsible for marketing, media, and online strategies. The Communications Manager will develop compelling narratives and implement earned media and digital strategies to help move organizing and advocacy campaigns forward. The ideal candidate will be committed to economic and racial justice and have demonstrated experience using social media platforms, strategies, and digital organizing tools to influence decision-makers, reach community, and shape the public discourse.

FAITH ROOTED ORGANIZER- Contra Costa County

The Faith-Rooted Organizer will work with the Director of the FAME Initiative and EBASE Contra Costa campaign staff to engage and organize faith leaders and communities in support of Contra Costa campaigns.  The Faith-Rooted Organizer will support EBASE’s campaigns and projects for tenant protections, immigrant rights, workers’ rights and economic and racial justice by building committees of faith leaders; collaborating with unions, workers and community groups; and helping develop and execute faith-rooted strategies and tactics.  The Faith-Rooted Organizer is led by the Director of the FAME Initiative and is a full-time position.
